The Return of Fortitude!
CHRISTINA CAME OVER; WE MADE A FORT. THE SEANCE HAS BEEN POSTPONED BUT I HAVE A GLITTERING ALTAR SKULL AND MY PARENTS CAME BACK FROM PA WITH A BUSHELL OF APPLES, SO ALL IS WELL. FORT HAS BEEN RECEIVED FAVORABLY BY GENERAL PUBLIC, SKEPTICALLY BY DOG; REMAINS STANDING . TAUGHT TWO MORE PEOPLE HOW TO SHOTGUN THIS WEEKEND. OUT OF AMSTEL LIGHT.

Return of Thunder Pt. I: Power Rangers Ninja Storm
Last night, pleased with having invented a grilled salmon and peas dish for the evening meal, I swirled about the downstairs of the house in my new cashmere cape to a chorus of concerns about general impracticality from my mother. Then this thunderously fucking ridiculous lightening storm rolled in from the northwest and resident shih-tzu Trevor began trembling like a dryer full of shoes--I made a fort of dark blankets on the chaise longue and we huddled together until two or three in the morning when the sky cleared and he began to snore peacefully. Also, I never do anything.

Return of the Geese
Today at Breezy Point, I invented a beautiful Bolognese sauce with Canadian bacon to herald the return of the geese from the north. The knives were not sharp enough, but I persevered.

Honk, honk!

Also, we went to the outlet mall, since I am On Strike against my father until he trusts me around the roofers and lets me use the internet in his under-construction telecommuting office, a former freed slave residence at the corner of Lawyer's Row and High Street. My mother was on the prowl for things in the color rose, after seeing her reflection in a particularly flattering bath towel last week in Buck Hill.

Return of the Daughter
Went on a tour of the grounds today with copilot Jonathan Packer.

All but general water quality is well in the land of living well --

Amstel Light and Diet Barq's flow like milk and honey;

the oak tree has done a bang-up job of avoiding the burrowing elm chigger we heard about in Iowa;

the outdoor shower is as lovely as ever.
